How we handle your personal information

Bijagua Nature Tours runs private nature and birding tours around Bijagua, Tapir Valley and Rio Celeste, Costa Rica. We only ask for the information we need to plan your tour and answer your questions. This policy explains how that works.

What we collect

When you book a tour, contact us by email or phone, or send a message through our website, we may collect:

• Contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number
• Booking details, such as the tour you chose, your preferred date and time, and the number of people in your group
• Details you choose to share, such as children's ages, mobility needs, birding interests or species you hope to see
• Your messages, including any questions you send us before or after your tour

Please only share what you are comfortable with. We never need sensitive information to plan a tour.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Confirm, plan and run your private tour
• Contact you about your booking, such as meeting times or changes due to weather
• Answer your questions and requests
• Shape the tour around your group, for example by choosing an easier trail for young children or focusing on the birds you most want to see

We do not sell your personal information or share it with others for their marketing.

How we store and protect it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to arrange your tour, answer your questions and keep basic records of our bookings. Access is limited to our team, and we take reasonable care to keep your details safe. If a booking tool or email service helps us manage reservations, your information is used there only to handle your booking and messages.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• See the personal information we hold about you
• Correct details that are wrong or out of date
• Delete your information when we no longer need it for your booking
